Musical Theater

Dance Levels Kinder thru Pro 3

  • Levels Kinder, Level 1, and Level 2 have been added to our exciting Muscial Theater offerings.
  • Our Musical Theater class is open to students of all abilities and experience.
  • This class is the first step in building a foundation in acting and performing in a supportive and creative environment.
  • Theater games, commercial scripts, acting scenes, improv exercises, and monologues are some of the elements that we have incorporated into our musical theater class. Mock auditions and slating are developed all year long.
  • Students learn and practice scenes from Broadway shows such as Annie, Matilda, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, and The Wizard of Oz just to name a few.
  • This class fills each student with the confidence to audition or participate in their school and local theater productions. Previous dance or theater experience is not required to participate.
  • Students will perform a traditional Broadway inspired routine in the annual TSDC recital that includes singing, acting, and dancing.
